The Name
Two meanings. One brand.
Veyrai is drawn from the French je verrai, meaning I will see. It is a word of forward motion, of quiet confidence, of someone who already knows where they’re headed. The name also echoes Iberian roots meaning “from the riverbank.” Grounded, serene, a place of rest between destinations.

The Origin
The Veyrai was born from a simple observation. The people who need housing the most, those in motion, in pursuit, in transition, are often handed the least thoughtful options. Corporate apartments with beige walls. Short-term rentals with someone else’s furniture. Hotels that feel like nowhere.
We believed the moment of transition deserves something better. That a home should feel modern and considered, even when you’re only there for a season. That luxury doesn’t have to be loud. It just has to be right.
So we built The Veyrai. Starting in the DMV. Designed for the version of you that is already becoming.
A Letter
From the founder.
The Veyrai began with a frustration. I had spent years moving for work, between cities, between contracts, between chapters, and every time I needed a home for a few months, the options were the same. A hotel that emptied my evenings. An Airbnb that emptied my dignity. A corporate apartment that emptied everything.
None of them treated the in-between as a real part of life. None of them designed for it. None of them respected what it means to be in motion: that the person who needs the home most is the person already carrying the most.
So I built what I wished I had. A residence designed for the version of you that is already becoming. Beautiful, considered, ready. Yours for a season or a lifetime.
The first Veyrai opens in Suitland this year. The standard travels with every one that follows.
